About

Grace’s Yoga journey began in 2010 with her essentially attempting to copy the postures from her mums 1970’s Yoga books! She then began attending regular classes, trying out different styles of Yoga with a variety of teachers around her home in Yorkshire.

In early 2015 Grace decided to deepen her knowledge of Yoga by enrolling on a Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga teacher training programme in Rishikesh, India. The whole learning experience when coming from teachers who had been benefiting from Yoga their entire lives, allowed Grace to have a deeper respect for this ancient practice.

On her return home from India, Grace soon realised she needed more of an understanding of Yoga and its many forms. In 2016 Grace set off again, this time for year, travelling to different corners of the world and seeing how different cultures interpreted Yoga. Practicing with and learning from different teachers, revisiting and teaching in her old Yoga school, visiting different ashrams and temples and finally finding her own practice, Ashtanga.

Ashtanga Yoga led Grace to begin a regular practice under authorised teacher Joey Miles, she continues to practice now and found even after the birth of her first child the practice supported her more than ever, both mentally and physically.
